Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Bastrop. For over
one hundred and fifty years, the First Baptist Church has
been serving the community of Bastrop as the first
organized Baptist church in the state of Texas. Since that
time, we strive to help others come to know the Lord Jesus
Christ.
The First Baptist Church is a family dedicated to
spreading the Gospel through our community and missions.
We believe Family First through God's love and
have events and Bible studies for everyone. Just take some
time to browse all the ministries where God is leading and
working.

Winter Banquet
The Youth Sponsored Winter Banquet will be held Saturday, February 18th. The banquet is $45.00 per couple in advance. Reservations are required for the 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Signup after the service or call the church office during the week.
Menu: Grilled steak or chicken, rosemary potatoes, green beans, salad,roll, dessert, drink
Card Tables Needed
Card tables are needed for the Winter Banquet... Please bring your card tables with your name on it to the Youth Office as soon as possible.

The Wednesday meals are a fund raising effort for the Celebration Choir NYC Trip and Youth Activities. Turn in the reservation form or make your reservation before Noon on Tuesday and join us for this time of fellowship around the tables...
Mayor's Prayer Breakfast
Lewis Timberlake will be the guest speaker at the mayors breakfast on Thursday Feburary 23 at 6:45 AM. It will be held at First United Methodist Fellowship Hall. Tickets available in the FBC office. $7 per person.
